The Small Footprint Point-of-Sale is a computer based retail management solution designed for retailers who have found that a cash register meets most of their needs, and that an upgrade to a serious computer-based POS system would not by an effective use of capital.

At the same time, the system provides most of the features found in Restaurant POS systems like Micros and Aloha, but at a fraction of the cost. Some features include:

The Small Footprint Point-Of-Sale system has been successfully deployed. Based on feedback from our clients we expect new installs to maintain around a 99.9% up-time on an annual basis, with problems involving non-critical (e.g., customer tracking) systems, rather than sales systems. In the case of one client, the system has required three support calls in 18 months, one of which involved coffee grounds in a mouse.
